Ecolution´s project “The utilization of a bioreactor´s okara-reject as an organic fertilizer” has been accepted to a part of “The nutrient recycling pilot programme” funded by the State of Finland. In addition to Ecolution, also Chemitec Consulting Oy and University of Helsinki are taking part in the project. Chemitec will run laboratory scale tests processing okara in different conditions. The Department of Agricultural Sciences of University of Helsinki will research fertilizing features of the okara-reject and arrange pot tests. The budget of the project is 493.700 €, with an accepted state grant of 60%.
